Kingston State School delivers the Australian Curriculum from Prep to Year 6. Our teachers work collaboratively to deliver innovative learning experiences that meet the diverse needs of all our learners. Specific programs and supports are individually developed for students who require them.
Our curriculum programs allow our students to build and expand on their knowledge, skills and understanding of the eight learning areas, seven general capabilities and three cross-curriculum priorities that make up the Australian Curriculum.
Our classroom teachers deliver high quality, evidence-based programs in English, Mathematics, Health, Science (Years 3-6) and HASS (Years P-2). While Technologies (Prep-Year 6), HASS (Year 3-6), Science (Prep – Year 2), The Arts, Languages (Japanese) and HPE are all delivered by our Specialist Teachers, in dedicated learning spaces.
Our newly open Nature Play space offers a unique learning and play space for all our students.
Our whole school approach to differentiated teaching and learning ensures that the decisions our teachers make regarding their teaching and learning programs consider The Curriculum, The Learner and The Learning.
