With the recent opening of FamilyLinQ we would like to reinforce our commitment to the health, safety and wellbeing of our employees, students and anyone else involved with our schools and workplaces.
At our school, we deeply value respectful relationships as they play a crucial role in promoting student learning and wellbeing. Establishing safe and healthy collaborative schools requires more than just effort; it takes a community. Everyone must work together to ensure that communication and behaviour throughout our school remains respectful. We want to make sure we are all working together for your child, our students. To help do this, a Parent and Community Code of Conduct has been developed which supports the Student Code of Conduct and the Code of Conduct for the Queensland Public Servants, all of which, can be found on our school website. Schools function as workplaces, similar to any other. It is our collective responsibility to maintain a safe and respectful environment—ensuring a secure learning space for your child and a safe workplace for our staff. If school personnel feel unsafe in their work environment, they cannot provide the necessary support for you and your child. Our partnership values continuous school improvement, and we recognise that there will be times when parents, caregivers, and community members may wish to exercise their right to voice complaints or express concerns regarding the school's decisions, performance or actions. Information on our complaints management process can be found on our website. Thank you for your ongoing support in fostering a positive school culture and ensuring a safe, respectful environment for all. Robyn Marshall Principal
